About Us

Mike Lansing has been inspecting homes since 1997.  In 2004 he received his license from the State of Illinois.  Mike is also a certified indoor air specialist.  Mold testing is his primary function in indoor air quality, however, he is certified for various testing.

Mike has a Master’s Degree in Education. Teaching  for 35 years allowed him to use his summers for construction and renovation projects.   The addition of a home inspection license seemed the perfect partner for someone with Mike’s background in construction and renovation after leaving the teaching field after 35 years.

Renovating properties for sale or rental, along with mandatory continuing education for home inspectors, keeps his knowledge of the latest “how to” up-to-date.  Mike has performed thousands of residential and commercial inspections throughout his career.
